advanced placement (AP) program.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha participates in the Advanced Placement (AP) program of the College Entrance Examination Board (CEEB). A maximum of 32 hours of credit may apply toward graduation. Advanced Placement credit is based on criterion examination(s) administered by CEEB. The Dean's Office of the College of Arts & Sciences manages the program.

The current University policies regarding specific subject areas accepted and scores required are in the table below. Any AP test score of 5 also will gain Honors credit for Honors Program members up to a maximum of 10 credits.

Students must have official copies of their scores submitted to the Office of Admissions by the College Board in order for credit to be awarded. To obtain copies of official grade reports, you can contact the College Board directly at (888) CALL-4-AP.
